Muse are an English rock band formed in Teignmouth, Devon in 1997, comprising Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion). More recently, Morgan Nicholls has been featured on guitar and keyboards in Black Holes and Revelations era live performances. Muse's idiosyncratic style is a blend of alternative rock, progressive rock, classical music, funk, electronica, and heavy metal. Muse is known for their energetic live performances and frontman Matthew Bellamy's eccentric interests in global conspiracy, theology and the apocalypse
