Godhead is an industrial rock band that originated in the Washington D.C.-area in the 1990s. They are known as the first and only band signed on to Marilyn Manson's short-lived vanity label, Posthuman, in 2001. It produced their breakout album, 2000 Years of Human Error, that earned them recognition by Ozzy Osbourne and landed them a spot on Ozzfest in the same year on the second stage. Ever since their breakout album, Godhead has steadily developed a stronger fan base.

Godhead music is characterised as a mixture of dramatic goth rock and appealing dance beats with an atmospheric, industrial soundscape. It is further enhanced by the clean, terrifyingly deep vocal talents of lead vocalist/guitarist Jason C Miller and his gothic lyrical content. On their MySpace.com webpage, Godhead credits David Bowie, the Cure, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Ozzy Osbourne, and Nine Inch Nails as their influences.

Following the release of The Shadow Line, Godhead went out on the Congress of Corruption Tour with labelmates Ra, and ill Nino, as well as special guests The Dreaming. Following this domestic tour, Godhead headed overseas to support Soil.

Currently Godhead are on tour with American Head Charge in support of their latest single 'Push' which has a video featuring Ben Moody.
